ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a People Experience Partner - a deeply relational, heart-forward,  go-getter who helps us build meaningful partnerships with leaders in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Talent Development and People Operations.

This is not your typical “sales” role. You’ll be part connector and part strategist. You’ll build relationships, follow curiosity, and open doors to organizations that align with our values. You’ll also help improve our pipeline process, bring your own flavor to outreach, and connect leaders to the power of play.

You’ll report to our VP of Client Experience and work closely with our internal team to make sure our outreach and client care stays thoughtful, human, and fun.

Who You Are…

You’re not just good with people -  you love people. You live a life of alignment, believe in the power of a positive mindset, and are energized by big ideas, bold missions, growth, and belly laughs. You’re also strategic, organized, and always looking for ways to improve how things are done.

You’re someone who:

✅ Has 3+ years experience in business development, fundraising, or partnership-building

✅ Is outgoing, curious, and thrives on connecting with others - you are a “people” person

✅ Is a strong listener who can intuit what clients need

✅ Sees the human in the client, not just the transaction

✅ Preferable to have a natural network of professionals in Human Resources, Learning and Development and People Operations, but not required

✅ Lives in or near a major market where we do business

✅ Is a self-starter who works well independently and values flexibility

✅ Understands (and loves!) improv, comedy, or play - or is open to it

✅ Has a growth mindset that leans into abundance, not lack

✅ Honors Healthy Boundaries – Our internal team works Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CST, and we genuinely respect one another’s personal time outside those hours. We communicate via Slack during the workday and trust our team to unplug after hours. We believe in filling our cups outside of work, so if you value both personal and professional growth, you’ll feel right at home here.

What Success Looks Like:

You’ve built a pipeline of at least 75 researched leads in your first 90 days.

You consistently book 4-6 qualified meetings per month with HR/L&D leaders.

You’ve helped move 3-5 opportunities forward by crafting proposals and following up with heart.

You’ve invited prospects to attend at least 2 monthly showcases and attended yourself.

You’ve refined your outreach style so it feels both effective and authentically you.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage relationships with new partners

  • Research leads in target markets and industries

  • Reach out to prospective clients to book meetings in person or virtually and craft thoughtful proposals that provide a plan for the partnership

  • Attend monthly showcases and invite prospects to attend

  • Help manage and track proposals and deal flow using our CRM

  • Follow up on open opportunities and help move them to close

  • Refine outreach strategy and sales materials based on what’s working

  • Show up with energy, heart, and a spirit of improvisation

COMPENSATION & TRAINING

  • This is a partnership-based, high-commission role with plenty of flexibility. This is a 1099 contractual opportunity, and comes with many perks. 

  • Commission: Starts at 25%, and grows annually based on revenue growth 

  • Proposals and prospects brought to showcases are given flat rate as incentives

  • Training stipend: $1800 for two weeks (36 hours each week) of onboarding and shadowing

  • Growth Path: High performers in this role have the opportunity to build large books of business and grow into leadership opportunities if the team expands.
